One of the annual events that I’m most proud of supporting is the on St. Thomas, which happens during the weekend before the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Though my involvement with this particular event is extremely personal, I treat it with the same attention and strategic marketing precision as I do all other events, just with a little more love as I help spread the word.

For over a couple decades, I’ve donated strategic marketing services including public relations, media relations, photography, videography, graphic design, live-streaming, website, social media management and more for WE GROW FOOD, INC. through my business, Conch Shell Media, previously named KWANZAA365 Inc.

The past couple years, I’ve been working smarter, not harder, so I contracted out the event photography and left that part for others to do. Grateful to the VI Consortium for highlighting me at this year’s fair.

The 27th annual Bordeaux Farmers Rastafari Agriculture and Culture Vegan Food Fair will return to the western hills of St. Thomas on Saturday and Sunday, continuing a decades-long tradition centered on local agriculture, cultural preservation, and food sovereignty in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
