Inflation is caused by the government overspending. It is the unseen tax. The inflation we have seen the last 4 years was intentional. Rising cost of fuel, lowered supply, drastic reduction in new oil permits caused steep price increases on all cargo.
Most of the US depends on a global grocery supply chain. The longer distance and greater time to ship causes additional price increases.
Taxes on goods and labor have increased the last 4 years. Operating costs go up, prices increase.
Intentional fires, water restrictions, and man made created supply limitations cause prices to go up.
The government wants higher prices to glean higher taxes.

We need a convention of the states in the US to regulate our out of control government.
