The window for a breach has shrunk to about 16 minutes.
That is the time it takes for an attacker to move from their initial point of entry to their first lateral move inside your cloud environment.

If your security team relies on weekly or even daily scans, you are effectively looking at a snapshot of a house that has already been cleared out. The attacker has found the target and moved on by the time the scan results even reach your dashboard.

Scanning for vulnerabilities is a standard practice but it creates a massive gap in modern security. When an environment changes every few minutes through automated deployments and scaling, a static snapshot is outdated the second it is produced. Real-time visibility is often treated as an extra feature for mature security teams. In reality it is the bare minimum required to stop an exploit before it turns into a full breach.

We focus on mapping these attack paths as they develop in real time. Waiting for a scheduled report to tell you about a misconfiguration that happened three days ago simply does not work when attackers operate in minutes. Security needs to move at the same speed as the cloud itself to be effective.
