I brought over 2K disposable masks with me to Liberia… In collaboration with my big sis Ne-Suah Beyan-Livingstone’s RECH, we fed 250 children and parents today. We also did some COVID-19 awareness and distributed over 500 masks. I’m aware that this isn’t much, but I’m also aware that at times much isn’t required to make an impact. My commitment to this country, the underprivileged and the cause for which we fight is unwavering. 10-years of humanitarian services, over 500 students in scholarships (pre-school to college), two libraries dedicated, direct monthly support to many families, all of which have come with many challenges. Truth is many communities have been forgotten by their government; but as we demand more from/of our leaders, we must also be a part of that which we demand in our little ways. 🇱🇷🙏🏾🙏🏾

As we call on our government to ACT in these difficult and uncertain times, we must also be willing to step-up in small ways. My organization specifically focuses on education. To date we’ve given over 400 academic scholarships, dedicated two libraries etc. But in times like this, we identify with our people as fellow citizens. Hence, my Team started food distribution in Liberia today. The Elderly, Orphanages and The Disabled were top on our mind. Goal was to drop food off and leave like we did the orphanage in keeping with social distancing; but it’s difficult as elders in need will end up not receiving. Time is another factor. However, we visited few homes of elders with physical challenges for drop offs.

I’m told one oldma went to “borrow two cups of rice to eat this morning.” Many families can’t afford one cup. Be grateful folks; and as God bless us, let’s be a blessing to others. 50 families and orphanages were blessed today. To my team, you rock! Exercise continue tomorrow. Inspiration, not aspirations! 🇱🇷🙏🏾🙏🏾
