The fight for justice continues!
As we approach the two year Angelversary of Devon Anderson we ask everyone to join us and his family on July 18th for a rally outside APD HQ demanding that the GBI investigation be re-opened and killer cop Officer Melvin Potter be fired and indicted!

Despite APD Officer Melvin Potter’s history of reckless and violent behavior all the red flags were ignored and on August 5th 2024 while off duty, Melvin Potter shot Devon Anderson three times with his service weapon killing him. Two years later the GBI investigation has been closed. Meanwhile APD continues their internal investigation and Melvin Potter remains on the force. We stand with Devon’s mother and the rest of his family who continue to fight for justice for Devon and we uplift their demands that the investigation be re-opened & that Melvin Potter be fired and indicted for the murder of Devon Anderson.

This weekend we held a Cookout at Brownwood Park in East Atlanta to celebrate Juneteenth, the anniversary of the enforced abolition of chattel slavery in the United States.
While we celebrated this historic day with food, music & amazing vibes we also remember that the struggle for freedom didn’t end with emancipation and it continues to this day.
Thank you to the families, and community members who came and joined us!

This Monday June 22nd, Atlanta Alliance will be joining the family of Devon Anderson to the Public Safety Meeting at City Hall.
Mrs.Valerie (Devon’s mother), has been fighting for nearly 2 years to get APD Officer Melvin Potter off the force after taking her son’s life. For the sake of public safety Officer Potter should be immediately fired and indicted!
Join us in demanding that KILLER COPS BE TAKEN OFF OUR STREETS NOW!
