I admit, 10 years ago I would get mad offended when AARP sent me mailers with my name on it. But when my magazine, free tote and car organizer arrived this year, baby I was glad to be in the number and among the living. Yesterday I turned 50, and I will be celebrating until 11:59 p.m., June 13, 2024. That's a full year of, 'It's a Celebration!' in my Dave Chappelle's Rick James voice. 😂 We about to ball out on these AARP discounts. , , , , , ,

One step closer to the playground. I'm so thankful for your donations to St. Jude. Accepting the Walk 100-miles challenge in February meant this cold-natured girl met some chilly and dreary days (I don't do treadmills). I had to mean business to get 100 miles in the shortest month of the year.

On challenging days, I thought of playgrounds. I love to see a crowded playground filled with children laughing, swinging, sliding and playing. That's my prayer for every parent who has a child in the hospital or battling cancer. Every step I took was one step closer to filling playgrounds. Thank you for supporting .
