Stepping Back and Watching Big Ideas Take Shape - Imagination Playground 06/09/2026

"Sometimes the most meaningful learning happens when we step back and let children take the lead."

As a preschool teacher at The Preschool at DUMC, Kristen Bound has spent years watching children learn through play. Recently, she shared what happened when Imagination Playground Blue Blocks became part of her classroom.

What she observed wasn't just building.

It was collaboration.
Problem-solving.
Leadership.
Perseverance.
And big ideas taking shape.

Her story is a beautiful reminder that some of childhood's most important learning happens when children are given the freedom to create.
