Should you get married before purchasing a house?
I get asked this question all the time. That is a personal decision that every individual will have to make for themselves. From a investor and life experience broker, I do believe that if you are of legal age and are in the financial position to purchase a home .you should.
A home is more than just a place to rest your head at night it's an investment. You gain a level of financial and life experience that is worthy of having and learning before you gain a partner. The funds that you would put into an apartment or any rental, would be long-term more beneficial to purchase a home.
When purchasing a home some will say, I wait till I have my partner because we'll have more money together. But if that never happens, you have lost the opportunity and years that you could have gained great equity in your property. You must also look at the home purchase as an investment because it is. You will now be purchasing your home to invest in your future with or without a spouse. How awesome would it be, when you do meet your future spouse. You both come to the table with properties that you can liquidate to have an even better start together. Let's talk
