One year of Hope We Have Fun. Making albums is world building. I really believe every human should create something that didn’t exist before. It’s what makes us a unique species. Not just in the way it can be admired (a Grammy would be fun but mb we aren’t cool enough) but it’s the way these stories connect us and give us a deeper understanding of why we’re here. Songs like Lucy have changed our lives forever. The pain we’ve witnessed and the wisdom we’ve received you can only get from those who have walked the hardest roads. A year later, you see the world differently. What a gift. Even from goofy songs like Pink Lady, you see the way music and art animate us. Anyways I could go on and on, but build things. Build things with love and have fun, time is a thief and a seamstress of doubt. But you can and you will ❤️ - Matt
