TIPS For GREAT summer grilling!!!!

This weekend begins our summer season which for many of us mean enjoying the great taste of grilled meats and vegetables every week. If you are using a gas grill to get that great flavor and want your grill to stay working at its peak performance do this simple step after your grilling is complete.



If this is the first time you perform the high heat burn off read the important fact to note below. This is important to do if grilling high-fat content meats. Do not turn the grill off but instead turn all burners on high. Run the grill on high for 10 to 15 minuets, this will burn off excess dripping that will block burner ports reducing your BTU performance. Your burner ignition system will also be cleaned as spills and dripping are vaporized by the high heat. After the high burn let the unit cool and than be sure to cover your gill to help it last many seasons of outdoor performance.

IMPORTANT FACT TO NOTE: If this is the first time you perform a high heat burn off, be sure the grill is pulled away from from any house siding and to stay with the unit at all times. The high heat will work on not just your current grill dripping but those from the past. This can cause the grill to burn more than expected, if this takes place turn off all burners and let the flame burn off on its on. After it cools down repeat the high heat burn off to be sure all burner and igniter parts have been cleaned.
