We are excited to announce that Jackson Medical has been granted two new patents for our GloShield technology, marking another significant milestone in our commitment to innovation, excellence, and quality. These patents include our first in Canada as well as a second U.S. patent.

Exciting news! A new peer-reviewed study has shown that GloShield significantly reduces the risk of surgical fires and patient burns related to fiber-optic light cables. Independent researchers retrospectively evaluated the effectiveness of the intervention (GloShield) and found zero surgical fires or burns associated with GloShield usage.

We’re thrilled with the positive feedback on GloShield and remain committed to advancing patient safety in surgery. Our mission continues as we partner with surgical teams to elevate the standard of care.
