Had the honor of capturing Asian American Advocacy Day 2026! First time meeting legislators at their offices and it was amazing to see the turnout! Shoutout to the organizations that made this possible, and visit their page to learn more about them!
Little longer video but sharing a story of my experience as a photographer when working with clients who depend too heavily on AI. My take is to use AI as a tool. In my experience, relying heavily on AI to dictate production usually ends up causing more problems than solving them. AI is an extremely helpful tool, but it's meant to support, not replace...at least for now. Make sure you review and proof the results you get from AI before sending them over to a photographer. Creating a shot list, run of show, or even using it to suggest post-production revisions, in my opinion, should still be passed through a decision maker.

Not only do we work with corporations and brands, but we also work with nonprofits, and is one that is always such a pleasure to work with. Their continual work for advocacy and justice deeply connects with me, and working with nonprofits that do the good work and give back to the community is always a partnership that we're proud to have. At this event specifically, seeing all the Asian American leaders gathered together and investing in the people from the communities they represent felt like it was one of many significant moments that bring forth actual change and a brighter future for everyone!
