This is my community and peer advisory group of amazing black women in business. In this group is a combination of millionaire businesswomen, international keynote speakers, media and PR mavens, executive coach to millionaire CEO's and executives, radio and television personalities, top rated podcast host, top-selling authors, and Usher Raymond’s life coach – yes, that Usher, SuperBowl Usher!

AND...this is one of the three peer advisory groups I'm a part of. I make the time to meet with my peer advisors because of the power in the room, the doors that have opened, the connections to decision makers from the group, the speaking engagements, the referrals, my personal growth and development and yes all this exists in my peer advisory groups.

I have not always had this kind of group and the difference is a shorter learning curve and quicker moves and results compared to it being much harder for me and the process was longer, figuring things out alone and in isolation. If you are the smartest person in the room, always giving to others but not getting what you need, YOU ARE IN THE WRONG ROOM!

It takes being in "THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENS" to get to where you want to be. It takes learning from others. It takes BETTING on you. It takes fighting your fear. It takes being uncomfortable.
