Craziest 5 days I’ve had in a loooong time! Holy cow. My first 30a Songwriters Festival. . I played & sang my little heart out for 3 different sets. It’s been a dream of mine to play since I was a teenager, & getting to actually do it was surreal (the brief snow we got only made that worse lol) & stretched me in ways I can’t express— WELL truthfully, i can express in these ways: a lot of feelings of anxiety and imposter syndrome, asking myself: do i even belong here?… doing this solo without my bandmates & friends here, away from my very comfortable atl diy bubble… but thankfully all of that went out the window thanks to .hells , & , , , and anyone who came & listened, anyone who told me a little of their own story at merch after the set!!! I feel lucky to do what I do & to get to be a mirror for anyone feeling like a f*ck up, anyone who has felt deep grief, been through trauma, anyone with big feelings.
