Seasons change and so do people. I’ve grown and changed as time passes..just like everyone else. Understanding the change and STILL supporting your people is a different type of love and patience. BUT the bonds that truly mean the most will outlast any change!

My earliest memories of family instilled the morals and values that shape my character..my folks used to say “You be right”, and I WILL! Them walks to church every Sunday (and any other day) with my grandma really did something in me. Choir rehearsal and singing on 3rd Sunday, did something in me. The SPACE program, dancing at pine camp, OES, and every community organization I was in, STILL does something in me!

I applaud anyone who still feels the child in them. I lost her for a while…BUT SHE BIIIIIIKE 🥳 Took some time to live, and live for me. That’s freeing. And if I will, I’m STILL learning how all this works 😌

But thrive baby, thrive! Love who you are in every phase, set you some boundaries and take care of YOU! 🫶🏾🌻

Music has always been and will forever be a part of my life. But the act of creating/creation does something to my insides ✨ Putting the finishing touches on a verse, scrapping an entire song, sharing the vault with a trusted few..ALL keep me going! - And how appropriate to make this post the day after my big brother got him a Grammy and accepted it on behalf of VIRGINIA 🥺 (Of course this wasn’t planned, but intention and alignment go hand-in-hand 😉)

I say all that to say, this isn’t an announcement post but an I’m still creating, pushing myself and my pen to the unthinkable post. I’ve been in ATL for almost 3 years now, just living, traveling, learning more, writing and figuring out how to record myself 🥴 - imagine the stories I have to tell 😅😎 Let’s chat soon, we’ve got things to yap about 🌻💙🎶
