I'm hardly on Facebook anymore, but I felt I needed to come over here and remind my last-minute people that you have LESS THAN 30 DAYS to get your driver's license updated if it DOES NOT have the star on it!!! You will NOT be able to get through TSA to board an airplane if your license isn’t compliant!!! If you have a passport, that's EVEN BETTER!! However, those who only fly domestically (Vegas, Miami, Orlando, etc.) will NOT be able to fly OR ENTER ANY FEDERAL BUILDINGS (including the Social Security building). GET 👏🏽IT 👏🏽 DONE 👏🏽‼️

If you have a minor, they do NOT need one, but THEY MUST travel with a parent or guardian!!

If you feel different agencies are confusing you and have you feeling unsure, GET A PASSPORT EXPEDITED!!!

If you are getting married AFTER MAY 7th and are waiting to get your name changed, BMV advised me that they will NOT change your name on your license UNTIL IT’S UPDATED ON YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY CARD. So again, going back to my first paragraph… GET 👏🏽IT 👏🏽 DONE 👏🏽‼️

This has been in the works for years by the Department of Homeland Security, but they kept pushing it back due to Covid.

Delta Community will award $20,000 in scholarships throughout 2023 to students of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Our first HBCU Scholarship entry period is now open and will run through April 30. If you know an exceptional student attending an HBCU or a graduating high school senior who has received an official acceptance letter to one, tell us why they deserve to receive a $5,000 scholarship! You may also nominate yourself. Delta Community will select two winners from among the most compelling submissions to each win a $5,000.
