This was our hotel in Hakone. We spent one night but I wish we had more time there. It was a pit stop to break up the travel. It is amazing how much the aesthetic changes the further away you travel from Tokyo. We are currently in Takayama which is a tiny town so it is more conservative. Stay tuned for more.
