Dropping Hose

This is what it looks like laying out supply hose. We load our hose like an accordion, so it pulls out nice and easy. This is the hose that connects to a fire hydrant, basically to get the water we used to put the fire out. A normal hose bed would be 800-1000 feet. What you see here is a 6000ft lay! Oh hell no! Who the hell is gonna pick up 6k of hose and re rack it onto the engine! There better be a lot of rookies to help :)

Hollow Trees

When people ask why we cut down trees during a wildfire/brushfire. Trees many times burn from the inside out, fire takes the path of least resistance through the roots

They are heavy and dangerous, must be dropped. This is not an easy tree to “fall”, well done by this crew to get it done safely
