π οΈ Sometimes the most powerful builds happen after the event ends π
After a recent Build for Change event in Lone Tree, CO, a few unbuilt bench kits turned into something much bigger...Thanks to the leadership of our Rocky Mountain Territory Hub Manager, Jaime Valle, those kits found new life through a partnership with Jovial Concepts and El Grupo Vida Colorado in Morrison, CO.
Together, 16 participants came together at Jovial Gardens for a hands-on build day, learning to drill, measure, hammer, and sand as they built a bench from start to finish.π±πͺ
For the young people from El Grupo Vida, who work with individuals with disabilities, this was more than a project. It was a chance to learn new skills, build confidence, and experience the pride of creating something with their own hands.πͺβ¨
What started as leftover materials is now the beginning of a growing partnership... one that will continue to connect unfinished projects with organizations ready to learn, build, and create together.
This is what community impact looks like!ππΈ

π οΈRocky Mountain builds are making an impact!ποΈπ
Our Rocky Mountain Territory Hub Manager, Jaime Valle, recently led two incredible build days with Team Depot volunteers in Albuquerque, NM, and Boulder, CO.
Across both sites, volunteers rolled up their sleeves to build picnic tables and park benches that will soon be donated to local nonprofits and parks, helping create spaces where communities can gather and connect.π³πͺ
These build days continue to highlight the power of partnership, bringing together dedicated volunteers and the tools needed to make a lasting difference. πͺ
From city to city, the momentum keeps growing, and weβre excited to share more from a very special project Jaime coordinated. Make sure to check out tomorrow's post!ππΈ
