BEFORE: Google Doc → AFTER: Structured New Hire Workflow
BEFORE & AFTER
This client didn't need another document.
They needed a better onboarding experience.
I inherited a Google Doc filled with resources, meeting recordings, and links.
The information was there.
The learning experience wasn't.
Instead of adding more documentation, I built a structured onboarding workflow that gave every resource a purpose, clear instructions, and a logical sequence.
The result wasn't just a cleaner process.
It was a better experience for every new hire who came after.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned in operations is this:
Just because information exists doesn't mean people can use it effectively.
Good operations organize knowledge so people know what to do, why they're doing it, and what's next.
What process in your business is relying on one document to do too much?
Ever finish something and think...
"Wait... how did I do this last time?" 😂
If every client onboarding, launch, or weekly task looks a little different, you're not alone.
I call this a Wing It System, when your business depends more on your memory than a repeatable process.
Here's my challenge for you:
What's ONE thing you do every week that should have a documented process?
