💙💚 April is a Month of Awareness, Action, and Advocacy 💚💙
This month, we stand united for Child Abuse Awareness and Sexual Assault Awareness—two causes that deeply impact individuals, families, and entire communities.

Every survivor deserves to be believed, supported, and empowered to heal. Victim service agencies like ours are on the front lines, offering hope, safety, and a path forward for those affected by trauma.

🔹 We provide critical services—crisis response, advocacy, forensic interviews, counseling, and more.
🔹 We ensure that no one walks alone on their journey to healing.
🔹 And we rely on our communities to stand with us in this mission.

In 2024, The Child Advocacy Center received 440 referrals for services—and we are projected to receive even more in 2025, a sobering reminder of the continued need for prevention, awareness, and compassionate response.
Your support matters. Whether it's spreading awareness, donating, volunteering, or simply starting the conversation—you can make a difference.
💬 Let’s continue to raise our voices, educate others, and show survivors they are never alone.

We want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Douglas County District Attorney's Office for their unwavering commitment to protecting children and supporting survivors.

Their partnership with The Trinity Center is a vital part of our mission. Together, we work hand-in-hand to ensure that every child and survivor has a voice, every story is heard, and every step toward healing is supported.

Thank you for standing beside us in the fight against abuse—not just this month, but every day. Your dedication makes a lasting difference in the lives of so many. 💐👧🏽👦🏻

Today we are shining a spotlight on The Trinity Center, which is located here in Douglas County. The Trinity Center serves survivors of domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault.

Some of the services they provide are a 24/7 crisis line, forensic medical exams and interviews, support groups, temporary protective orders (TPOs), counseling, safety planning, and more.
