And finally, here we have my 2nd self-portrait for the
Project. Unfortunately, I did not get the pleasure of seeing this piece in person, but I did get to catch a few others. Please visit the House HOOPLA page to appreciate all of the works from the artists involved.

"Demand your rights. Defend your place in this world. Take up space. "
- Lilith Jenovax
β¨ 15 Visions. 10 Voices. One Movement.
π This wearable sculpture is named after Yuri Kochiyama β civil rights activist, political prisoner, and unwavering voice for justice across movements. From Harlem to Hiroshima, her work bridged Black, Asian, and global liberation struggles with radical love and solidarity.
βοΈ Constructed from cut beverage cans, recycled grocery bags, and pallet wrap, the piece glimmers with defiance and resilience. Like Yuriβs activism, itβs sharp, luminous, and impossible to ignore β a body in motion, a call to action.
