Song of Bernadette is an intimate duet between our founder Douglas Scott and a founding member of E=Motion, Margo Gathright-Dietrich, that premiered in 1995. Stay tuned for more deep dives into the Full Radius Dance archives!
Video ID: In the first clip, Douglas stands behind Margo, who is using a wheelchair. They both spring their arms up in a V shape, with their eyeline following their arms upward. In the second clip, Douglas holds Margo’s hand and spins her, then leans forward over her shoulder and raises his leg back, in a penche. In the next clip, Douglas stands on the back of Margo’s chair as she moves in a circle. He is leaning over her with his leg lifted in a back attitude. In the final clip, Douglas and Margo face each other. They hold hands as Margo rises from her chair into an embrace with Douglas.
