Wedding days can honestly be scary. The last thing anyone wants to be thinking about is "How come I look like a stiff mannequin in all of my photos?" or "We ran behind on the timeline, but is this really all I have to remember this day by?".

Holly never had to worry about these thoughts on her wedding day. Because we had already met for the engagement session and all of our prep meetings, she knew that:
1) Her whole wedding day was going to be effortless and natural. There was not going to be any “What If…?” questions of unpredictable scenarios running through her mind.

2) We intentionally created a timeline together so that if we got behind, we weren’t actually behind.

3) She'd feel and look amazing in the photos because my posing emphasizes the things she loves about herself.

4) Her fiance loved how he looked in the engagement session and because of the purposeful direction he was given, he loved how he FELT too. He never felt stiff, awkward, or even just a background character.

5) There were going to be tons of moments where she and her fiance could just act themselves and they wouldn't even think about the camera being on them.

She knew all of this because she chose me as her wedding photographer.

I believe that there is more to wedding photography than stiffly smiling pretty at the camera. It is about movement, being at ease, and existing in that moment. No one should have to worry about how they look in their photos or not having an important moment captured on their wedding day. They should only worry about enjoying their big day!
