What charging devices have you utilized in the past? Do you have a preferred brand? My experience has primarily been with Junsi iChargers, although I have experimented with other options.

My history with chargers includes the following models: 306B Junsi
ISDT SC-620
410 Duo Junsi
308 Duo Junsi
406 Duo Junsi
X6 Junsi (current)
M8D Toolkit RC (current)
DX8 Junsi (current)

Other notable chargers I have used include the BC168, which excelled at charging and balancing individual cells via balance leads, and the Imax B6.

In the past I parallel charged large banks of 4s, 6s, and 8S Lithium Batteries (5000-16000mah) for my electric bikes. With charge sessions lasting more than 3 hours at 70A on my 4010 Duo. That's how I got into making power supplies cause those chargers are huuuungry for power. I've tripped some breakers due to their heavy power demands. I learned that 1500w is more than effective and just because you can do more doesn't mean you should.

Furthermore, I conducted extensive charging and discharge tests to verify brand claims, test IR, and assess different chemistries. I graphed capacity and voltage, and Junsi iChargers consistently demonstrated exceptional discharge capabilities, both internally and externally. Their computer software for graphing was also pioneering.

I've also been consulted by customers to help them with Electric car batteries for Car Audio Enthusiast. A123 Lifep04 Chemistry. The capacity of these cells are so big you have to have a big boy charger to handle the charging and discharging of cell banks that can range from 75Ah to up 600Ah.

Verify Verify Verify. Too many times I've had good looking cells but when I've ran discharge tests they weren't performing at their . Having good quality test equipment is key.

A returning customer requested an identical unit to the one he bought in 2020. Nothing wrong with his old unit he just wanted one for his bench and another for the field. He required it to be flat to go in a charging case he's building. Very quiet. Did a quick charge cycle for a load test. Boxed and ready to ship. Another one in the books. 😀12v 24v 1500w 62A
