INSPIRATION comes with a PRAISE REPORT and a SMILING FACE from Lani Guiao Delacruz today!
"The Untold Truth about my Beautiful Journey: The Greatest Miracle of my Life!!
I
will always remember the date, Feb. 23, 2007. It was barely 17 days
after I was diagnosed with breast cancer and 2 weeks after my 8-hr.
Modified Radical Mastectomy. I can not easily forget the date because
that was the same day wherein I received my histopathological reports
and my surgeon referred me to an oncologist. He told me I badly needed
one, a very good one because my case was so special. In fact, with
my histopath reports, I also needed a miracle! I had invasive ductal
carcinoma. The aggresssive kind of breast cancer with the higher grade,
stage 3 grade 3! Four out of 16 lymph nodes were tested positive for
cancer cells with the so-called lymphovascular invasion. I was also
tested ER/PR negative and that means, an aggressive chemotherapy was
the only treatment option then. No one knew about my real conditon
then, except God, my husband and me. So that day was really
unforgettable, because that was also the same day when I prayed so
hard, "Lord, please send me again one of your angels." When I
met my oncologist, I knew and I believed in my heart that God has sent
me an angel to guide me. His name is Dr. Deogracias Custodio, one of
the pioneers and top oncologists of MakatiMed's Deparment of Oncology.
He was awarded as the Oncologist of the year 1997 among his peers from
the entire Philippines. His name alone, which means "God's grace is my
guardian or custodian" gave me hope and enough courage to fight for my
second lease on life. When I talked to him face to face and
honestly told him about the meaning of his name, he gave me his
sweetest smile and like a dear father, he patted me on my shoulder and
humbly said, "I will cure you but God will heal you." He became another
Dad to me since then....More than 3 and a half beautiful years
had passed. For every six months, after every scans and tests, I
visited my 'Dad.' All the physical pains were all worth it. All the
anxieties and fears vanished everytime, he looked at the results and
said "Perfect!". I had my last visit with him yesterday, Oct. 5, 2010.
I was so happy to see his sweetest smile ever, after seeing my latest
results. My onco said " Lani, you are so blessed! You're life is really
one great miracle to share! No one will ever believe with all your
results now as compared to your histopath reports 3 years ago. You are already CURED! God, really might have found something special in you.. So keep thanking Him for that." Yes, life is a beautiful
collections of precious moments well-spent, hard-lessons learned, tough
battles won and sincere prayers answered. For each and every day comes
a sunshine of hope that says a MIRACLE is always on our way, if we
just believe and humbly pray, "your will be done, LORD, not
mine"...AMEN!
I am leaving again MakatiMed cancer-free!!!! Thank you, Lord!!! My onco's name is Dr. Deogracias Custodio...it means God's grace is my custodian or guardian...Isn't it perfect?"
Thank you, Lani for sharing your steps to LIVED2TELL!

🌟 Honoring Black History Month 🌟
As we celebrate Black History Month, we pay tribute to the remarkable individuals who have left an indelible mark on our world. From musicians and athletes to authors and activists, their contributions have shaped history and inspired generations. However, behind their extraordinary achievements lies a sobering reality – many of these trailblazers faced the devastating impact of pancreatic cancer.
In a poignant tribute, we remember icons like saxophonist David “Fathead” Newman, pianist Count Basie, and author Lorraine Hansberry, among others, who battled pancreatic cancer with courage and resilience. Their legacies serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of cancer awareness and early detection.
At LIVED2TELL CANCER SUPPORT OUTREACH INC, we stand in solidarity with those affected by pancreatic cancer and strive to raise awareness about this relentless disease. With a five-year survival rate of just 9 percent, pancreatic cancer remains one of the nation's deadliest cancers, underscoring the urgent need for continued research and support.
During this month of reflection and celebration, let us honor the memory of those we have lost to pancreatic cancer while reaffirming our commitment to supporting those currently in the fight. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those impacted by cancer and work towards a future where pancreatic cancer, no, ALL cancer is no longer a threat.
Join us in spreading awareness and support by sharing this post and visiting our website at https://lived2tell.org
Together, we can make an impact and honor the legacy of those who have paved the way. 🖤✊🏽
