0Z bots were designed to survey large open fields, monitoring fence lines and weeding out invasive plant species with an electric lasso. Over time their mechanical parts broke down and owners improvised, replacing their parts with surrounding organic materials.

I shot 0Z in the field behind my parent’s house where I grew up. It’s soooo hot here in Atlanta. Even after 8pm, it was like swimming in a pasture. The sky was perfect though, with the humidity from the rain making everything green and strangely vibrant. @ Atlanta, Georgia

The closer you look, the more you see, tiny robots all over the garden. 22OK is from a family of Botanicas created to keep away typical garden pests. However, he takes cover at the first sight of a carpenter bee, so no help there at all, until I upgrade to some beefier components.

22OK is made out of vintage electrical parts and magnets, and runs on pollen.
