A library card… but make it Penelope of course! 👓📚
It’s National Library Week, and I have to highlight someone special—my local librarian.
Yes… the one in the bear papier-mâché mask. 🐻
These photos are from a school’s Book Character Day in Atlanta a while ago… and I remember this day vividly because it was HOT that day.
But she still wore the mask—just to make it a fun experience for the kids. That’s dedication.
A library card might seem small…
but it opens the door to much bigger things like imagination and confidence.
This week especially, I’m grateful for librarians—they go above and beyond to make reading feel alive and meaningful for kids.
I’ve seen it firsthand. And it’s powerful. I’ve personally learned so much about storytelling just from watching her.
If you haven’t visited your local library lately, this is your sign.

I’ll be at the Conyers Book Festival hosted by — this Saturday and Sunday — and I’d love for you to stop by.
This is a full weekend celebration of books, creativity, and community, with authors, vendors, panels, and family-friendly activities all in one place.
I’ll have:
✨ The Penelope and the Power of Positivity book
✨ the Penelope doll
✨ and all the confidence-building, mindset-shifting goodness for your little readers
If you’re in the Atlanta/Conyers area, come spend the day surrounded by stories that matter — and bring the kids with you. 💛
Come say hello, browse the books, and let’s build a bookshelf with intention. 👓✨
