**REQUIREMENTS**:
At TonalForge, you're more than just a composer, editor, or producer. You're a TrackSmith, forging tracks from start-to-finish and working directly with clients to see their dream project to fruition.
To be a TrackSmith at TonalForge:
We are looking for a hard-working, innovative music producer who takes pride in their craft. Must be coachable, dynamic, and have a broad understanding of music composition, splicing, mixing, and mastering. TrackSmiths will be working directly with TonalForge clients, and must have solid interpersonal skills. Their responsibilities include managing deliverables on strict time budgets, liasing with clients + account managers on an on-call basis, rearranging compositions, sourcing samples/loops/presets, and creating engaging and compelling musical content.
Successful music producers should themselves be competent instrumentalists and composers or arrangers, entrepreneurial in their approach, and knowledgeable about trends in the market. Ideally, the most suitable candidate will have worked on successful projects, and have a respect for both new and old techniques and technologies.
At TonalForge, we've developed a 5-step creation process. Composers will learn and must be able to adjust to that process.
**Music Producer Responsibilities:**
Gathering ideas and inspiration for projects.
Running recording sessions.
Rearranging compositions or suggesting changes to lyrics.
Managing project budgets.
Handling contracts and negotiations.
Aiding in efforts for mixing, mastering and recording.
Developing the vision and direction for each project.
**Music Producer Requirements:**
Bachelor's degree in music / audio engineering preferred but not required.
Knowledge of industry law and ethics.
Firm grasp of sound editing techniques.
3+ years' experience using digital audio hardware and software.
