Month 3• Growth Goal • Arm & Leg Movements
While your baby is learning to move their head around and engage with toys, we highlight Arm and Leg Movements this month as baby starts to become aware of them. Getting baby to bat with hands, kick and hold both their feet helps build core strength and is the foundation for rolling in the next few months.
Position • Grab Feet: Place baby with socks on and help baby explore reaching for toes with hands. Can also do this barefoot, may start by bringing hands and feet together to help them learn.

We are a judgment free zone at PT Mamas! We know some babies will get tightness in their necks (torticollis) or flat spots on the back or side of their heads (plagiocephaly). We want to help you through some of these challenges.
One of the best places for growth and development is on a safe place on the floor to transition, strengthen, and EXPLORE!
Life can get hard and busy so we want to help guide you through your baby’s development. Contact us for in-home PT sessions, virtual PT sessions, and pdf growth guides for the 1st year of development.
