Sometimes the best sessions are the ones that weren’t part of the original plan.

After watching the forecast fill up with rain and Mackenzie’s baby’s arrival date any day now, we made a last-minute decision to move this session inside—and I’m so thankful Mackenzie was willing to roll with the change.

And goodness, I am SO glad they did.

These images are everything I hoped for and more.

The soft light, the genuine connection, the anticipation of meeting their little one—it all came together so beautifully.

Moments like these remind me that sometimes the unexpected changes end up being the biggest blessings.
