Turns out CBS decided to fly me and 15 others half way across the world to take part in a reality tv show called The Summit

Safe to say it was an adventure of a lifetime!

This taught me a lot!⬇️ I hope it helps you where you are right now as well.

When I saw these pics, I saw my inner child almost instantly.

Sort of how I imagine my mama sees when she says “no matter how old or tall or grown you look, I always see little…” (insert childhood nickname here that does not need to be discussed) 😅

However, it’s different when you see it yourself. Almost like seeing the younger you, but here in real time. And it begs the question… have you been fair to your inner child? Nurturing, receptive, cherishing, ask while learning from your childlike mind?

I’ve learned so much from him, and it has helped me become a more complete and stable man.

1️⃣ Don’t take life too seriously. Remember how we used to make fun out of any situation? That’s actually very healthy for emotional management.

2️⃣ It’s ok to ask for help when needed. Don’t ask for anything to be done for you, but instead ask them to teach you how. That’s the best way we learned as kids, actually DOing

3️⃣ Get excited about the little things again. As a kid, getting I’ve cream from McDonald’s could change our whole day. Celebrate the little things and the little wins throughout the day as an adult.

4️⃣ You don’t have to worry… You don’t know how things are going to work out all the time, but you were never meant to. All you had to do was look at mom and dad and knew they would figure it out… all you have to do is be a kid. As an adult, learn to lean on God again. You be the child and let God be God.

5️⃣ Keep that highly active imagination and that unsatisfied curiosity. When growing up, I had all the questions in the world. (Fast-forward a couple decades, makes sense why I became a scientist). However, my younger self would tell me to keep fueling that imagination which will continue to grow that curiosity and make me easily inspired. With those two things being as active as they were when we were young, there’s no limit to what you can create in this world that will help so many people.
