Pay attention to people who:

• give backhanded compliments
• compete instead of celebrate
• drain your energy after every conversation
• act supportive publicly but shady privately
• or make your good news feel “small”
Real friends clap for you.
Real friends celebrate your growth.
Real friends don’t secretly resent your shine. 🌹

Pay attention to people who:

• use money to win arguments
• make you feel like you owe them loyalty or silence
• threaten your stability during conflict
• or act like providing basic support gives them ownership over you
