As the motto of one of my secondary schools (Ajuwa Grammar School, Okeagbe Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria) says: "To thine own self be true" This phase of social evolution reveals a timeless truth: before societies can cooperate, they must first endure. Globalization expanded the reach of human systems; inward orientation now tests their depth. The future will belong not to the most interconnected societies, but to those most capable of sustaining themselves biologically, culturally, and existentially.
