This is Ghost. A 5 year old 14hh gray BLM mustang who I have been working with for a little over a year. He was almost completely unhandled when I got him, but he has been learning how to be a civilized citizen. Originally rounded up in Nevada and is with me in Commerce, Ga. He has been ridden English and western, inside and outside the ring. He loves the trails and I have been introducing him to jumps. I plan to take him fox hunting but I think he is versatile enough to do what you ask of him. He loads on the trailer and stands for the vet and farrier. UTD on all shots, coggins, and teeth floating. Stands for bathing and doesn’t flinch for clippers, I do most of these things ground tied with him. He knows all the fundamentals and some intermediate. He’s just as soft with a bridle as he is with a halter and rides ba****ck. He is still a green mustang who can be cautious of new things and new people but keeping his feet moving, backing especially and he will settle down, same with when he’s had a break from work he may come back a little cold-backed, but once you work it out on the ground he’s an angel undersaddle.
This is one of my favorite horses I’ve had and I’d love to either see him excel with someone who understands a young horse or I would be happy to offer him on lease, or a lease to own and be able to keep him in training. For anyone interested please private message me!

Meet Academy horse Carl Wayne!
Anyone who met Carl during his journey always loved him! He is a grade 6 year old paint that I bought for under a grand specifically to bring him to the academy as he was very green and needed miles. Carl is on the much hotter and sensitive side, so it never takes much to ask him for anything! I tested on the groundwork portion with him and we scored an A- together. Shortly after coming home, he went to his first show and even competed in a pole bending class and acted like he has done it forever. He found a new home, but he will be coming back to me to further his training and go back on the market due to no fault of his own.
