Outdoors With AJ
I found a workwear outfitter today off of Vista Ave in Boise Idaho that is absolutely filled with amazing quality apparel and hardware for the outdoors and working conditions.
The place is called Workman’s Outfitters and it’s tucked into a strip mall on the main strip of S Vista.
Calvin, the owners son in law was super nice and he said the owner Charlie, who is around the first couple days of each week, is super knowledgeable and passionate about heritage brands like Pendleton, Filson, Carhartt and more.
I may have even found the perfect wool liner for my Barbour Beadeale rain jacket for the fall. I’ll have to save up for that one though.
I just can’t say enough how much more fun I have when I run with my friends then when I run alone. Thanks to all of the run club organizers out there!
My friends at Boise River Guides and I are going to be tying flies and showing you how, this Wednesday, July 8th from 7:00 to 9:00pm at Gem State Brewing in Eagle Idaho.
Thanks to our friends at Blue Line Fly Co, we have vices, and tool, and materials for you to tie with, just show up, have a beverage and hang out with us.
New to tying? That’s great, we’ll show you all the steps to tie your very first Prince Nymph, an all time classic pattern.
