Singleton Racing
07/04/2026
Not the ending we were hoping for, but we gave it everything we had.
We spent week chasing the setup, making adjustment after adjustment, but we just couldn’t get the car to stop hiking the left side and wanting to bicycle over.
The reality is we’re caught in a tough spot with this class. Carlyn is too heavy for light classes, but not heavy enough to move into heavy. We simply can’t add enough ballast to get the car where it needs to be, and have speed especially on a high-grip, flat pavement track like Indianapolis. Every adjustment helped a little, but it just wasn’t enough.
We brought the car in during the race, made more changes, and sent her back out to finish what she started. Sometimes you reach the limits of what the rules and physics will allow.
It wasn’t the result we came here for, but we’re incredibly proud of Carlyn for giving it everything she had and never giving up. We’ll take what we learned this week, keep working, and come back better.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout this trip, especially Liam Ballard for lending us the shock package that gave us a chance to compete. We appreciate every bit of help.
That’s racing. On to the next one. 🏁❤️ 🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸
