Authenticity is the most valuable skill, oftentimes learned far too late into life. The sooner we become comfortable in our own skin and less concerned with the perspective of others, the sooner we can live free of those seemingly inherent chains.

Toss those chains down, wear your hair the way you love, create the art that freaks people out, peruse the career your parents said you’d hate, and live. Because what is life but ours?

Prepare for the inevitable and evitable.
One of them will happen.

Amanda here. Moderator of the new Steve-isms page. My pops (Steve Gee) was a master of many things, one was words. This page is dedicated to all the things he said, wrote, pondered, or argued. Feel free to add anything you recall. My hope is to create a comprehensive space to encapsulate the lessons he provided in hopes to spread his philosophy to more people. Because he was a pretty rad dude.
