Start your holiday celebrations with us and the birds! 🔴 & 🔵 birds should be easily found, but we may need a wayward gull for something ⚪️. 😉

🕗 We’ll get ahead of the heat with our 8:00 a.m. start time. The walk has a good bit of shade but please come prepared for the weather.

📍Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary is located at 1056 Merrimon Ave. in Asheville, NC

There’s still time to join us in June! Please remember that the Lake Julian walk begins at the Wild Wing restaurant area of the park, not the main entrance.

📍Use 65 Long Shoals Road as your gps address for the Lake Julian walk. The walk is around 1 mile round trip, and about 2/3 of that is on a mostly flat, paved or boardwalk type surface. The remaining portion that has views closer to the lake will involve uneven surfaces with rocks and roots underfoot.
