We're proud to recognize one of our drivers, Joshua, for going above and beyond.⭐
While out on his route, Joshua was flagged down by a resident whose husband had fallen from his wheelchair. Without hesitation, Joshua stepped in to help, assisting the gentleman back into bed and staying with the couple until he knew they were safe and okay.
His kindness, compassion, and willingness to help during a stressful moment made a real difference. It's actions like these that show what Evergreen is all about—serving our communities and caring for the people in them.

What makes it even tougher is that we can’t start early to beat the heat. Local noise ordinances and landfill operating hours set strict limits on when our trucks can roll. That means our team is working through the hottest part of the day — every single day — to keep our community clean.
So, we make hydration a priority. 💧 Every truck is stocked with cold water, electrolytes, cooling towels, and constant check ins. We look out for each other because that’s who we are. We’re a team. We’re a family. 🤝 And we refuse to let the heat win.
