Well, friends. The fires, temperature and AQI got us good. Isiah Driessen, Natural Satellite and myself got together and decided for safeties’ sake, it’s best if we call tonight’s show off. Rescheduling is in the works!!
Love you very much. 💜🩵
Jericho
original song by Joshua T. Hester
filmed and recorded by SecondHand Studios
got a little lost by lake michigan
wanted to dip my feet in, so we couldn't use winnebago
lyrics:
Got myself lost near Jericho
Corner of a cornfield n lake Winnebago
Gonna let my cellphone die
Couple hours won’t kill nobody
Might grab a cuppa coffee at a lil convenience store
Made me think bout walking city streets
Sparkin a dart, hoofing round Milwaukee
Hitchin’ a ride on the Green Line
Bayview back to the East Side
Would I recognize anybody on Brady Street?
All of a sudden old times don’t feel half as bad
Dulled that Bowie knife, ain’t nothing but old beeswax
Melted on the mantle, don’t need me another candle
Tilled the field and it finally feel like spring
Still can’t dance but I’m fe-e-lin’ the groove
Had to spend a bit of time werewolfin’ at the moon
A dog eatin dinner at the table
That I built myself outta oak and maple
Got a long haul but I don’t mind driving
All of a sudden old times don’t feel half as bad
Dulled that Bowie knife, ain’t nothing but old beeswax
Melted on the mantle, don’t need me another candle
Tilled the field and it finally feel like spring
Can’t sing loud if my head’s too screwed on
Can’t bake no bread if i don’t turn the oven on
Can’t see at night without my glasses on
Can’t chop no wood, gotta put my gloves on
