United for Aphasia Awareness: Spotlight on Florida
Throughout May and June, NAA Ambassadors and advocates across the country reached out to local and state legislators to request proclamations recognizing June as National Aphasia Awareness Month.
We are so excited to share the stories of these advocates!
Today, we are highlighting the state of Florida and the advocates who worked to receive two City Proclamations in Longwood and Jacksonville!
Thank you to NAA Ambassadors Alyssa Zunic and Brooks Rehabilitation, Glory Gresham, and Andrea Garcia for your hard work and dedication!
We are so grateful to everyone who has volunteered their time and resources for such an important intiative, and we are so excited by the progress that has been made!
