The Quito Project

A big thank you to all who donated yesterday on Giving Blue Day! These donations will go directly to financing our 2020 Summer Academic Program in Quito, Ecuador, including providing meals and essential supplies for our students. On behalf of The Quito Project executive board, we are very thankful for the ongoing support we receive from our community to make this program a success!

On Friday, The Quito Project hosted our fall semester workshop on "Breaking the Barriers of Voluntourism: Teaching ESL Abroad." Lead by Pamela Bogart, we discussed our roles as English teachers abroad, and what that may mean for communities in different countries. We are so grateful to the Latin American and Carribean Studies department, the English Language Institute, and the Language Resource Center for helping us make this event a success!
