Time to talk TURKEY!
Everyone loves an oven-roasted turkey. My dilemma is having my oven tied up all morning and no where else to cook my side dishes. There are so many options out there for turkey prep that do NOT involve the oven. Here are some of my favorites:
#1. Deep fried. There's nothing better than crispy, fried skin with a succulent juicy center. Just make sure to do your research before trying this method - it can be dangerous! You will be the talk of the town when you pull this one off.

#2. Smoked. Bring the campfire to your Thanksgiving Day table this year. Add flavored wood chips for a unique flavor! I like to stuff the turkey with lemon and herbs for a refreshing flavor on the inside that offsets the smokey goodness of the skin.

#3. Grilled. If you have nice weather on Thanksgiving this year, fire up the grill! I like to season with a homemade cajun butter sauce when I grill the turkey. If you have a case of the wintertime blues, add a barbecue twist to your turkey and you will forget all about the cold weather!
