The Boston based WINChallenge proposal writing team met to celebrate our work so far

The nonprofit Epistimi, Inc. was founded in 2021 to provide the MIT LEAPS course, Leading Yourself and Others, to women in STEMM globally. In 2023, the MIT LEAPS Program was awarded the Irwin Sizer Award for the “Most Significant Improvement to MIT Education” by the MIT Graduate Student Council.

Epistimi has partnered with the American College of Greece (ACG) and together we are happy to offer our one-week Epistimi-ACG leadership workshop during May 25-29, 2026 at the ACG Alba Business School in Athens, Greece. This program is for graduate students, postdocs, research scientists, assistant professors or any other early career professional.

Come join us for an empowering event focused on enhancing **leadership presence** for women in **STEMM** fields. Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting out, this event will provide valuable insights and strategies to help you excel in your career.

Epistimi, Inc., a nonprofit focused on providing leadership training for women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (STEMM), is partnering with Baci Studio, where fashion, sustainability and education merge. Baci Fashion (www.bacifashion.com) is an Italian designer of women's fashion. In Baci's gorgeous studio space in Brooklyn, New York, Epistimi will offer a one-day leadership workshop - Leadership Presence - for women in STEMM on Friday September 26, 2025 9:30 am - 5:00 pm.

This program is for graduate students, postdocs, research scientists, assistant professors or any other early career professional in STEMM. We will explore the connections between how we feel about ourselves and how others perceive us and the variables in the Leadership Presence equation, including our appearance.

Workshop participants will be able to see the fashion collection on site and will receive a special discount coupon with additional discount after the event if they wish to purchase the clothing online.

Note that the registration fee for this workshop is not refundable if you decide not to attend. However, you may use the registration fee to participate in other Epistimi programs, virtual or in-person.
