See Stories' Interim Executive Director Seth Bader just finished up an amazing week in Bristol Bay, working with young adults from Naknek. Last week's program "Currents of Connection" has been a long time coming! See Stories was thrilled to partner with Nels Ure, who has spent much of his life fishing in Naknek, and has long envisioned a workshop for Naknek youth to share why salmon is so important to them and their community.

See Stories partnered with Native Movement, and worked alongside Nels and 6 incredible, passionate, and dedicated young-adults who took a deep dive into media to shape incredible stories around family, legacy, connection to place, and a common love for salmon. We are also so grateful to the Bristol Bay Historical Society for hosting a well-attended community film screening at the Bristol Bay Museum at the end of the week.
