How to REALLY balance your chakras (from a yoga therapy perspective) 🪷 🧘🏼

This graphic outlines the seed sound or bija mantra for each of the 7 chakras along with a visualization for each (this may be a little different to what you have previously learned).

➡️ To balance each chakra and bring them back into harmony, we place our awareness on its location along the central channel, imagine the visualization in that place and chant the mantra, either out loud or silently to ourselves.

Often when we work with a chakra balancing practice, emotional ups and downs may be minimized. Emotionally ups and downs are stressful on our system and have big ramifications for our health.

Therefore, from a yoga therapy perspective, a chakra balancing practice can be very beneficial.

Often, you’ll hear people talk about the chakras opening or closing when you chant a bija mantra.

We like to think of getting the chakras balanced. Think balance and harmony all the time when you’re working therapeutically.
