Yesterday our one of our photographers attended the memorial service for the City of Riverside Fire Department's Battalion Chief Scott Wilson at Grove Community Church. Family, friends and community members came together to remember what an incredible person B.C Wilson was. Also in attendance were members from several departments nearby and as far as New York attended, along with the Axeman MC, a motorcycle club for active and retired firefighters, which B.C Wilson was apart of.
During the service several outside agencies covered the city dispatch calls so the entire department could attend the service. Some of those agencies were CalFire/Riverside County Fire, Murrieta Fire and Rescue, Morongo Fire Department, Corona Fire Department, Palm Springs Fire Department, Canyon Lake Fire Department and San Bernardino County Fire Department just to mention a few.
This was an incredible turnout for an upstanding Battalion Chief.
