Been a few weeks since our last update been very busy, Friday June 19th at Claremont Motorsports Park we brought a couple fast six shooters swept both qualifying heats with our cars started 5th and 8th come feature time there was a massive first lap melee which cut the left front tire down on the 51x of Meghan Bell and she took it pitside for a fresh tire and came back 4 laps down but proved she had a fast car and Michael in the 25 car worked methodically from 8th to P1 on the night, June 20th towed the pure stock back to Monadnock for triple crown extra distance action went from 6th to 3rd in the heat race and 10th to P1 on the night in a photo finish, Sunday the 21st took the six shooters and pure stock to Hudson International and finished runner up to Chris Quin in the pure stocks and the six shooters Mike Comtois dominated the race to lead the first 24 circuits and Michael passed him on the final lap with a mistake in turn 1 to win a photo finish 2 days in a row unfortunately the 1-2 finish both of our cars got DisQualified 25 car for bending a toe bolt on the right rear in a heat race crash and 52 car for right front camber moved too much, June 26th Michael had a wedding to attend so Meghan was racing on her own in the 51x and she got crashed hard in practice from a car spilling fluid all over the racetrack but came back in second practice to prove why she’s in the drivers seat within a tenth of the leader they had features only that day with double points on the line she worked her way from 6th starting spot to 3rd and on lap 9 she was working to the inside of p2 and some contact cut the right front tire instantly ending in another dnf, June 27 Michael got up from his sisters wedding the night before and decided hey let’s go racing today and hauled out to Monadnock started p10 and worked all the way to the feature win for 4 in a row when he was told it was impossible, June 28 back at home track Hudson Speedway with six shooters and pure stock in action Michael smoked the competition with Mike coming second for an official 1-2 finish in the six shooters and got into the pure stock and couldn’t get by Chris in the 76 car finished p2, Independence Day weekend went up to Claremont on Friday night Meghan won the heat race and led the field to the green but it would be short lived on lap 2 a failed part brought her race to a grinding halt and Michael starting 6th with an absolute horrendous start to the race got driven through a couple times almost spun got sent through the grass he found himself running 7th on lap 4 over 4.5 seconds behind the leaders and with no cautions got as far up as p2 finished 2 tenths off the lead, went to monadnock on the 4th of July and driver absolutely sucked during the feature but somehow finished P5 the car didn’t like the mod rubber on the track. Well what an incredible weekend at the races. Loaded up the pure stock and hauled out west to Monadnock Speedway for the double features makeup race from last week and Michael Yeaton got career win #1 and #2 in pure stock competition, went to our home track Hudson Speedway Sunday with a couple six shooters and the pure stock in tow, Michael snagged career win #3 in pure stocks and another six shooter trophy to add to the collection at the garage.
