Spring Garden Studio

First picture was taken yesterday, I came home exhausted not feeling great and my husband came home with pizza.
Second picture is this morning, lunch all ready for the kids when they get out of school at noon bc it’s a half day. Ironically I’ll still be at their school finishing up mural #2.
These ages allow me to do this, I love where they’re at right now. We’ve instilled in them that working helps us be better people, they understand the give and take of our family dynamics and willingly do the work that it takes to keep the home running (not chores, not “helping” but the work it takes to live in a home).
Everyday is a balancing act. Some days we order pizza, and other days we have hot lunch and cookies.
Doing the best we can everyday.

Yes I do house calls! Hand painted sliding glass doors to welcome in the spring air 🌸🌷

It’s a different canvas to be painted inside so that you can still view the outside (opposite from painting on the outside to be viewed from the outside, while the interior is dark). Always love bending my brain to make it look aesthetically pleasing while maintaining function.

Let’s hope this is the last of the snow and we can all enjoy watching it melt.
